Rev Martin Shorey

Senior Minister
Martin was originally a high school teacher before changing direction and retraining as a church minister. His first church was in Luton where he spent 6 years, before coming to Horley in 2017. He is married to Jen, has 3 children, and loves his dogs.
Dazz Jones

Children and Families Pastor
He’s a parent and foster parent. Dazz has now been the children and families pastor at HBC for over 10 years. He has been working with kids and young people since he was one, which is further back than you would think to look at him. He leads our Sunday groups, toddler groups and anything involving families! Dazz loves music, being outdoors and climbing. On a Sunday, you’ll usually find him chatting to someone, in his office planning something fun or running round helping his teams!
Alison Dowrick

Hub Manager
Alison manages all things to do with the building, so if you’re booking a room or coming to do some maintenance for us you’ll be in contact with her.
She loves to sing with her choir (in international competitions no doubt!) and is a wonderful mother to her children who are now quite grown up!
Angie Robinson

Operations Manager
Angie has been a key part of the Horley Baptist family for a long time. She is responsible for ‘all things Sunday’ and works across all our teams to make sure things happen the way we hope them to and does so as well as we can manage.
She has two grown up kids and now some grandkids who she loves to spoil and spend time with! She is also a queen of hospitality and making people feel welcome in her home.
