Grants Received from other Charities

Baptist Union Loan

A huge thank you to the Baptist Union Loan Fund, who have agreed to lend us the fantastic sum of £750,000 towards our new Church and Community Centre.  The loan will be repaid over a period of years, funded by donations from members of the Church congregation and revenue generated from hirers of the building.  (No charges are made for activities run by the church for the benefit of the local community).

Grants and other Churches

We would like to acknowledge out thanks to a number of other churches and Charitable Trusts who have supported our Living Stones Church and Community Centre Project with grants towards the project:-

The Cheatle Trust £500
EF& MG Hall Charitable Trust £250
Erica Leonard Trust £500
Loseley Christian Trust £1,000
Norwood and Newton Charitable Settlement £25,000
Horley Edmunds Trust (part of the Community Foundation for Surrey) £1,000
Andrew Anderson Trust £2,000
The Beatrice Laing Trust £20,000
The Joseph Rank Foundation £25,000
All Churches Trust £15,000
We are also very grateful for a number of donations that have been given to the project from local churches (mainly from those in the South Eastern Baptist Association) currently totalling £9,900

In Memory

Thank you to all the family and friends of Catherine Redwood who have donated towards the project in her memory.  You raised £777.22 towards the Living Stones Project (as well as £635.88 for Cancer Research).

Outstanding Grant Applications

We have a number of other grant applications outstanding, that we are waiting to hear from.  We hope that these will help us to find the final amounts we still need to find, so that we can then focus on raising funds for furniture and towards Phase 2 of the building.

These donations mean that the end is nearly in sight and we will soon be building this new centre to serve the community in Horley!
